The second lecture of the Society’s winter series will be held on Monday 1st November 2021 at 7.00pm in Stornoway Town Hall. Our guest speaker will be Robert Doig and the theme of his talk will be ‘Dr Doig, MOH 1930-1965’.
Dr R S Doig was Medical Officer of Health for Lewis and and is best remembered by many for his work in leading the local TB vaccination programme.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Donations are taken at the door. Please remember that local Covid-19 restrictions are in place, so masks are required.
