The Stornoway Historical Society is hosting a public lecture to be held on Monday 12th September 2022 at 7.00 pm in the Council Chambers, Sandwick Rd. Our guest speaker will be Jim Wilson, Professor of Human Genetics at Edinburgh University and he will be talking about a project called Viking Genes which will look into the DNA of people across the north of Scotland.
