The fourth in the Society’s winter series of lectures will be held on Monday 23rd February 2015 at 7pm in the Council Chambers, Sandwick Road. Our guest speakers will be Alastair Rees and Ross Cameron from Archas Heritage Ltd and the title of their talk is ‘Make No Bones About It-  excavations from a enigmatic site on the Briaghe’. Alastair and Ross are both archaeologists and worked on the recent excavations at the Braighe that uncovered interesting Bronze Age artefacts.

News Update…. Due to unforseen work commitments, Alastair Rees will not be co-presenting this talk but his colleague Ross Cameron will be there. Ross has promised to bring along some artefacts from the dig for viewing.

Doors open at 6.30pm and entry is by donation.
